When you run on the trails, do you have to drive out there, or do you live close enough to be able to just start running and end up there?

I live close enough, like a couple of miles from the park. it's called "the greenbelt".

I'm looking forward to upping my runs from the current two, to three times a week. Right now I'm doing 40 mins for those two runs, and recovery is very quick and easy, so I'll add on another 40 minute in between and see how that goes. On other non-run days, I cycle, walk, or hike, so that mixes things up a bit. I hope to work up to a half marathon by the end of the year.

I'm coming up on halfway through my training for Disney's Princess Half at the end of February. Yesterday was my longest run to date, nearly 7 miles. I typically jog three to four miles two to three times a week with no recovery time needed. After yesterday's morning run I was sore all over for the rest of the day. At least I know I did something! 😜

I'm pretty well dreading this week's long run, 8.5 miles.
