So I was thinking, I might want to jump in on the San Francisco Marathon this year. (July 29th.)
The thing is I havent' really been training for a marathon since I finished the oakland Marathon last March. I've been running all this time, but I wanted to calm down some injuries and just take a break.
Now I'm thinking I might want to tackle this marathon, and am going to try out and extra long run today to see how I do. I have been doing long runs of up to 13 miles, but usually around 10 or 12 since Oakland.
Whattaya think? Have any of you just jumped in on a marathon at the "last minute"?
