Estimated Time

I'm planning to enter the Disneland Half Marathon on August 31st. They want me to give them my estimated completion time when I register, so they'll know what corral to start me in. If I don't provide that time, they'll start me in the last corral; and they want proof from a previous race 10 miles or longer if I claim 2:45 or better.

What I plan to do is wait until after the Lost Dutchman Half Marathon, and subtract ten minutes from my time there. I figure that between mid February and the end of August, I should be able to cut my time by at least that amount, especially since I'lll be in the middle of a marathon training program by then.

Is that ten minutes a realistic figure?
